Billboard Magazine asked us to produce a short documentary to accompany their November 2016 feature on hip hop and activism in Chicago. We created profiles of Malcolm London, Jamila Woods, and Che “Rhymefest” Smith, and used interviews with activists like Charlene Carruthers as connective tissue. The profiles are designed to be modular so each section can be broken out and used on its own for future social media campaigns; strung together, they tell a more complete story.
